Our Story
Life Events was founded in 2008 on the belief that every baby deserves the best start in life. That is made possible when parents are given opportunities to learn about each stage of their patient care journey and become active participants in their health care.
We set out with a clear objective: create evidence-based patient education solutions that are engaging, easy to understand, and budget friendly. Our flagship product, Baby News—Caring for Yourself and Your Newborn, has helped over 2,000,000 families navigate the ups and downs of new parenthood. We have expanded over the past decade to offer books in related categories, an interactive web application, and book “bundles” (print and app fusion). These education solutions support patients from pregnancy to parenthood and deliver unique, personalized experiences.
Branding and customization of our solutions has always been one of our core services, allowing clients to showcase their brand and provide continuity of care throughout the patient’s care journey. We’ve streamlined the customization process, making it quick and easy for clients to modify any aspect of our products—and our solutions are full service, so we take care of every customization detail.

Life Events is pleased to have completed Compliancy Group’s Implementation Program, adhering to the regulatory standards outlined in the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA; these include the Privacy Rule, Security Rule, Breach Notification Rule, Omnibus Rule, and HITECH). In 2013, Life Events became certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), and in 2020, we earned an additional Women-owned Small Business (WOSB) certification. WBENC is the largest certifier of women’s business enterprises in the United States and a leading advocate for women business owners, leaders, and entrepreneurs. These certifications align with our values and are significant because Life Events can help customers achieve their supplier diversity goals and, in turn, formally demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.
